A Long Time Ago in This Galaxy-
A friend needed his wedding video taped. He had a video camera, but was the groom. He could not video the
wedding and get married at the same time. Our founder volunteered to video tape the wedding... he had some experience
with photography, none with videography.
The wedding tape was a hit and other friends and friends of friends asked to have their weddings videotaped.
The first year we produced a total of 9 wedding videos for friends and others. The year was 1984. A
to Z Video Taping was concieved and went into business.
The name A to Z was chosen for two reasons:
- The named guaranteed the first listing under the video production heading in the yellow pages
- Our slogan, "We take care of your video needs from A to Z" was born.
The business began in the bedroom of our founder's apartment with a video camera and two VCRs to edit with. The
first videos produced were watchable at best, not Spielberg quality.... eventhough business grew.
A call from a prospective customer (they still do business with us today) started the duplication side of A to Z Video.
The customer needed a video produced and then 20 copies to sell to their customers. We took care of their needs.
Additional VCRs were purchased and A to Z Video Duplication was launched.
Today, 26 years later, A to Z Video uses the latest in digital technology to capture, edit, produce, duplicate
and package DVDs, Videotapes and more for their ever growing list of clients. Many of our clients have been with us
for over 20 years, we continue to "take care of their video needs from A to Z..."
